ABC Building Systems (China) Co., Ltd. (previous Shanghai ABC Steel Structure Co, Ltd., short for “ABC”), established in 1994 as a joint venture by American Buildings Company and China Renaissance Industries, is the pioneering manufacturer of Pre-Engineered Metal Building Systems (“PEMB”) in China. In the ensuing years, ABC has developed a full range of capabilities, starting with the world-class know-how of American Buildings Company, to become a premier provider of fully integrated PEMB. Our scope covers architectural and site plans, overall structural designs, fabrication of steel members and components, on-site erection and supervision, and after-sales services. Headquartered in Shanghai, we have branches and offices in Beijing, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Xi’an, Nanjing, Xiamen, and Shenyang.

ABC is the first company within the industry to obtain Class A Design Certificate for China Light-weight Steel Structure Buildings and Class A Certificate for Steel Structure Project Specialty Contracting.  ABC’s other professional qualifications and certificates include Certificate for Overseas Contracting, Certificate for High-tech Enterprise, Certificate of FM Approval, Certificate ISO9001:2008 and National Safe Production Permit. As a world leader of metal building industry, ABC has been playing an active role in editing standards, mainly including “Technical Specification for Steel Structure of Light-weight Buildings with Gabled Frames”, “National Technical Code for Application of Roll-formed Metal Profiles”, “Technical Code for Fire Safety of Steel Structure in Buildings” and so on.
